Welcome to the Bounty Hounds’ Website!

The Bounty Hounds are VERY EXCITED because we now have the five tracks we recorded at BBC Radio Suffolk studios which were broadcast on Steve Foster’s Introducing show
Mon 11th - Thursday 14th May 2009 (more here).

We are also looking forward to playing at the Hachfest on Fri 31st July

We are a Suffolk based folk rock band, formed in the Autumn of 2006, providing live music for Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, East Anglia and beyond!

The Bounty Hounds are:
John - vocals, mandolin, bouzouki, guitar
Jo - fiddle
Chris - electric guitar
Kevin - bass, backing vocals
Shaun - drums

Our musical style is folk rock with a variety of songs and traditional tunes ranging from a raw, up-tempo sound to smooth, lyrical gentleness. Our sets include cover versions of songs by bands such as Fairport Convention, The Levellers, Waterboys and Rough Red, alongside some great original songs.

To date, we have had the pleasure of performing live music at village festivals, local pubs, folk festivals, street fairs and private parties, and we’re always happy to consider a gig, no matter how bizarre the location!
